Cal Poly Pomona Barkada Presents “Hawak Kamay”!

It’s that time of the year: PACN season! And to continue along the line-up of PACNs from different schools around SoCal is “Hawak Kamay”, Cal Poly Pomona’s 22nd annual Pilipino-American Cultural Night. The show is Friday, May 4, at the Haugh Performing Art Center at Citrus College. Doors open at 5:45PM, and the show starts at 6:45PM. Pre-sale tickets cost 12$ but rise up to 15$ at the door. Buy yours and enjoy a night of Pilipino culture through acting, dancing, and music!

Sportsfest XXIII: Rise is in two days! And with that in mind, schedules are up and available to be viewed and downloaded. Additionally, information on parking and court/field location has been provided. Click the picture above for links to the schedules!

Friday, March 16:

Bowling will be held at West Covina Lanes (675 South Glendora Avenue, West Covina, CA 91790). Registration begins at 5:00PM and games begin at 6:00PM.
Basketball will be held at the Kellog Gym. Registration begins at 4:00PM and games begin promptly at 5:00PM.

Saturday, March 17:

Registration for ALL sports begins at 7:00AM. All games begin at 8:00AM.

Sunday, March 18:

Registration for playoff teams begins at 9:00AM. All games begin at 10:00AM.

General:

Parking will be $5 on Friday, $3 on Saturday, and $3 on Sunday.
Remember to bring a form of government issued identification (driver’s license or passport).
Be sure to arrive at least one hour prior to your team’s first game.

PLEASE NOTE:

Lost wristbands require a replacement. Required wristbands are $2.

In the event of rain, we will be playing all sports and postponing/delaying the schedule according to the amount of rainfall.

Update: Any issue pertaining to rain and refunds for outdoor sports will be discussed with team captains if the situation arises.

With Sportsfest in little more than three weeks, Barkada is having its pre-party at Icon Lounge next to Staples Center in Los Angeles hosted by LOLent. Tickets will be: $15 presale so buy them now! The prices increases at the door so buy them before hand! 18+ to Party, 21+ to Drank! Contact any E-Board member to purchase any tickets!

Sportsfest Car Wash! (UPDATE 2/23/12)

On Sunday, February 26th, we are having another Sportsfest Car Wash! We’ll be there starting at 9AM at the parking lot of Wienerschnitzel on the corner of Diamond Bar Blvd and Sunset Crossing in Diamond Bar (23300 Sunset Crossing Rd, Diamond Bar, CA 91765). Car washes are free but donations are welcomed. Come get your car washed while you eat a corn dog!
