Hey everyone, we hope you’ve had a great vacation! Summer may be ending soon, but we still have a lot more planned out for everyone! More after the jump!

First off, Barkada is finishing off it TV taping viewings with America’s Funniest Videos (AFV) on Tuesday, September 13. We hope that you will come out and enjoy the chance to be a part of a studio audience, and if you’re still not sure, you’ll be able to spend time with your fellow Barkada members. Also, there is a dress code for this taping, which requires semi-formal attire. More details with explained later. And don’t let driving stop you from coming out as E-Board members will provide you with carpools.

Next up on the list is the world famous, (ok, not really but almost) second annual Schick Quattro clubbing event at Hollywood Highlands Nightclub hosted by LOL Entertainment. This event is no joke. It is a collaboration with three other schools including UCR Katipunan, CSUSB LUBOS, and CSUF PASA. Presale tickets are $15 and get you into the VIP line (separate from the general line) so you can enter faster because c’mon, who wants to spend most of their night in line? Not only that but buying tickets at the door will range from $20 to $30. With many schools already started and the rest of us starting soon, let’s make the most of it before school mode really kicks in! Sick and tired of such a boring summer? Don’t have the cash to go to Disneyland or Six Flags? DO YOU REALLY MISS BARKADA??? WELL come to the Summer Luau hosted by Barkada’s E-board on September 17th at Huntington Beach. It’ll be one of the last things you will do before school starts again so come through during the day and enjoy the beach or come at night and enjoy a warm bonfire. For incoming freshmen and returning members, this is the chance for everyone to hang out together! Whenever you come, food and drinks will be provided.
